Hearts stand still
Yearning for connections
Excitement when meeting
Blinding us
Consuming our thoughts
Hearts shatter broken glass
slashing
Those we thought who care
Leave Us
Anger takes hold, like a relapse
Crying, begging for someone
Some settle choosing the pain
Other bitterness
They continue the cycle
Until one day they ponder
Others give up in love.
Healing warriors stop
Thrashing like a spoiled babe
Blaming others, playing victim
And heal, looking for wisdom
Then comes the process
Of The Father
A new masculine them emerges
Assisting in setting boundaries
Stern yet kind is the key
Key to forgiveness
Forgiveness for oneself
This is the Mother
She teaches how to end the cycle
How it starts with one
One becomes whole
One whole piece
One person realizing their worth.
